Hub Bearings
1st wheel bearing is a double row angular contact ball bearing incorporating an
integral outer ring and two separable inner rings or a double row
tapered roller bearing. In order to ensure the preloading after
assembly to meet the requirement ,the bearing clearance is set in
advance. There is no need to use the spacer to adjust the
preloading at assembly. And the wheel bearings are self-owned seals
so the labour cost is reduced.
The characteristic of 2nd Generation Hub units are fewer parts. lighter weight and conveniently assembly. The
flange of outer lane is connected by bolts to the suspension (inner
ring rotating) or to the brake disc and steel ring (outer ring
rotating)
3rd Hub unit contains an outer ring with a flange which is connected to the
suspension and an inner ring with a flange which is connected to
brake disc and steel ring. There is no need to adjust the position
at assembly. The ABS sensor which can measure the vehicle speed and
prevent wheel-slip is integrated to the Hub unit. The swaging
technology is used to self-locking half inner ring. This swaging
mode (non-driving wheel) can reduce the volume. weight and cost.
